Are the courses self-paced or do I need to attend at a set time?

All Bela Beauty College courses are fully self-paced. Once you enrol, you have lifetime access to the course materials and can work through them at whatever pace suits your schedule. There are no live sessions you need to attend — everything is pre-recorded and available on demand.
How long does it take to complete a course?

Most students complete the core course content in 2–4 weeks if studying part-time. The practical component (working on models) typically takes an additional 2–6 weeks depending on how quickly you can book practice clients. There is no deadline — you can take as long as you need.
Do I need any prior experience to enrol?

No prior experience is required for any of our beginner courses. The Classic Lash, Brow Mastery, and Nail Technology courses are all designed for complete beginners and take you from zero to client-ready. Our Volume Lash and Makeup Artist courses do recommend some prior experience, which is noted on each course page.
What format is the course content delivered in?

Course content is delivered through a combination of HD video tutorials, written guides, downloadable PDF resources, and interactive quizzes. All content is hosted on our online learning platform and accessible from any device — desktop, tablet, or mobile.
Can I do the course if I live outside Australia?

Yes! Our courses are available worldwide. The content is relevant to beauty professionals in any country, though some regulatory information (e.g., insurance, business registration) is specific to Australia and New Zealand. International students should check their local regulations for practising professionally.
Is there a community or support group I can join?
